WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 3 Interesting stats following the event

There could have been many reasons why Undertaker vs Goldberg was a flop
There could have been many reasons why Undertaker vs Goldberg was a flop

Super ShowDown had so much potential for making history as Brock Lesnar looked to be the first WWE star to cash in a Money in the Bank contract outside of America and June 7th could have become the first day in history that had two Money in the Bank cash-ins since CM Punk cashed in his contract on the same day at Extreme Rules in 2009.

Sadly, Lesnar's cash-in attempt didn't go to plan and instead Seth Rollins was able to leave The Middle East with his Universal Championship so that he could set up a match at Stomping Grounds against Baron Corbin.

Of course, this was the first time a Money in the Bank contract was teased to be cashed in as part of a show in Saudi Arabia, but there was so much more WWE could have done if the cash-in was allowed.

Kofi Kingston successfully defended his WWE Championship last night at Super ShowDown against Dolph Ziggler and even though he needed help from Xavier Woods to get the job done, this was the first time he was able to pin Ziggler on pay-per-view in his career.

Ziggler and Kingston have a storied history since The Showoff has taken the United States and the Intercontinental Championships from Kingston in the past and if he was able to win at last night's show he could have become a Grand Slam Champion in 2019, but this wasn't the case, Ziggler will now have to wait until his rematch inside a steel cage at Stomping Grounds so that he can once again attempt to lift WWE's most prestigious Championship.
