WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 4 Interesting stats heading into the event
In the latest WWE NEWS, WWE Super ShowDown has been hanging over WWE like a dark cloud ever since WrestleMania, the event was originally set to take place following the biggest show of the year, much like last year's Greatest Royal Rumble event, but was later moved to June 7th because of scheduling issues.
The women of WWE have been pushing over the past few months to be made part of the show for the first time, but this now seems unlikely to happen, whilst a number of matches have been made for a sheer reaction rather than based off actual running storylines. Triple H vs Randy Orton and The Undertaker vs Goldberg have had very little build and it's obvious that they are only on the card because the Saudi Arabian officials have asked for big names to be present once again.
Despite the lackluster build up to the show, there are some interesting points that should be made ahead of the event that could be a hint towards what might happen with some of the upcoming matches.
#4. WWE presents its biggest ever Battle Royal
WWE likes to make history in Saudi Arabia, last year they presented the largest ever Royal Rumble match which featured 50 men and saw Braun Strowman come out on top before they announced that this year they would follow suit and have a 50-man Battle Royal.
Technically, this is the same kind of match only quicker since there are no entrances, the entire field of superstars enter the ring at the same time and as the bell rings they all have to battle it out to be the last man standing.
There is no prize for the winner at this current moment in time, but the company could decide to add that as part of the show later today.
