WWE Superstar Shakeup 2019: 4 Major Stars Who Desperately Need To Change Brands
As announced last month, the next WWE Superstar Shakeup will be a two-night event with the first night being exactly eight days after WrestleMania 35. It'll begin on the April 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, and continue on the following night's (April 17) edition of SmackDown Live.
Typically, WWE tries to move at least one or two big names, although there are a ton of wrestlers on both rosters who could benefit from being on a new brand.
Since the original Superstar Shakeup back in 2016, there have been some superstars who haven't switched brands, and as previously mentioned, there is an abundance of talented people on WWE's roster who could greatly benefit from being switched over to the opposite brand.
Also with SmackDown moving over to the FOX network soon, WWE might truly decide to shake things up by sending some of the top Raw names over to the blue brand in preparation for their big debut on the network.
So with all that in mind, here are four major WWE superstars who desperately need to change brands.
#1 Finn Balor
Aside from when he was initially called up to WWE's main roster, where he was going to be pushed as the top guy on Raw prior to being injured in a match with Seth Rollins, Finn Balor hasn't really done much on the company's red brand.
Balor is one of the most talented guys WWE has on their roster, and that talent has been wasted due to the top brass not believing that he's over enough to be a main event level superstar. On top of that, there may also be some trepidation on the company's part due to the "Demon King's" injury history.
However, a switch to SmackDown Live, along with a heel turn, could be just what Balor needs to convince the top brass in WWE that he can, in fact, be a main event superstar.
