WWE Superstars results: September 5, 2013

R Truth vs Drew McIntyre (with Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater)

Decent opening match on this week’s WWE Superstars. Both superstars dominated during various segments in the match up. Despite some interference from other 3MB members, Truth fended them off and hit the Lie Detector for the win.

Kofi Kingston vs Curtis Axel (with Paul Heyman)

A fitting main event to the show saw Curtis Axel face Kofi Kingston.

Both superstars showed tremendous potential and put up an entertaining match. As the match proceeded, Kofi looked like he had the advantage. But, Axel countered it and hit his trademark hangman’s facebuster for the win.
