WWE Survivor Series 2016: 5 Heel/Face turns that could happen at the pay-per-view
Survivor Series has enough hype around it to turn the WWE landscape upside down. The introduction of the brand split has given WWE the opportunity to have brand vs. brand traditional elimination matches at the PPV and such matches have a proven track record to be a great platform for heel or face turns.
With the recent hit that their television ratings have taken, WWE will be eager to shake things up and pulling off turns would be a great idea of doing so.
So, in this list, we are going to take a look at the possible heel or face turns that could happen at the pay-per-view on Sunday night.
Honourable Mention: Paul Heyman
WWE will face a big problem at Survivor Series when Brock Lesnar and Goldberg go up against each other. Booking the match without hurting both Superstars would be important for the company, and this is not going to be a cake walk. No matter how they decide to end the match, there is going to be fan backlash.
One way around this is to turn Paul Heyman. Heyman turning against Brock Lesnar would protect Lesnar and at the same time, give Goldberg the win. Lesnar without Heyman will be a problem for the future, but at the same time, WWE could benefit from Goldberg winning and of course, the possibilities that they could pull off with Heyman.
#5 John Cena
This is something we have been dreaming of, for a long time. But Survivor Series is perhaps the best opportunity, considering the warning that the Undertaker gave SmackDown this week in his promo.
Cena might be out of the picture for the time being, but if WWE is planning a Cena vs. Undertaker program, Cena should return at Survivor Series and then cost Team SmackDown the match.
After his interference, Cena could call out Undertaker, so that they have a reason to fight each other, rather than putting forward a random match between two legends.
