WWE Survivor Series 2016: 5 Superstars who should shine at the pay-per-view

The Money fighter

Survivor Series is just around the corner and like all the years that went by, the importance of the pay-per-view cannot be stressed enough. With the brand split in place, the relevance of Survivor Series is one step higher than the past few years and this makes it an ideal platform for superstars to shine.

While WrestleMania might still be months away, we all are well aware of the long arc of booking that WWE makes use of, and building up superstars at Survivor Series, could give an indication on how WWE is planning to play out their Mania season.

The traditional elimination matches also open the door for creating heroes and it’s a technique that had been tested successfully in the past as well. Combine all these factors and it would be safe to say, that we could see certain superstars outshine others at the pay-per-view. And in this article, we are going to try and list down those names.

#5 Kalisto

Time to show the world where he belongs

Kalisto’s inclusion to Survivor Series came as a big surprise. He was given a shot at the Cruiserweight championship in the last minute and it has managed to create some buzz. When WWE first announced the Cruiserweight division for Raw, the exclusion of Kalisto was a big talking point.

He was a recognisable name that WWE could’ve used to build the division up. Instead, he was drafted to SmackDown. WWE finally seems to be correcting their mistake and Kalisto does have a chance of winning. If he wins, he will become the man that brought the Cruiserweight division to SmackDown, and that’s a big deal.

Even if Kalisto loses, he shows the fans that he deserves to be in the cruiserweight division. Either way, Kalisto gets the limelight.
