Following up from our previous post of predictions for who could be the sole survivors of the men's elimination match at WWE Survivor Series 2017, it's time to shift our focus to the women of Raw and SmackDown to see who stands out in a similar regard.

The same basic rules and theories apply, wherein the sole survivor is typically someone WWE will either immediately start pushing or values enough for the future to be starting to build toward their investment in the coming weeks and months.

With the women's roster pool being shallower than the men's, the disparity between competitors can sometimes be much more obvious in a match like this where certain women are perpetually a bigger deal and others will assuredly be a sacrificial lamb.

However, there are always chances for surprises and WWE has shown in the past that having a big name get eliminated first and an underdog rising from the bottom can happen, so when comparing the field of 10 women on Raw and SmackDown against each other, which two stand out the most as being the potential sole survivors?

Team Raw consists of Alicia Fox (captain), Asuka, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and either Bayley, Mickie James or Dana Brooke

Team SmackDown consists of Becky Lynch (captain), Carmella, Charlotte Flair, Naomi and Tamina — pending the results of Charlotte vs. Natalya on SmackDown Live

Most likely to be Team Raw's sole survivor: Asuka

Despite not knowing for sure who that final member of Team Raw is, it won't make any difference, as Bayley, Mickie James and Dana Brooke all don't stand a chance to overtake this honour from Asuka.

With her undefeated streak still intact, it can be assumed that Asuka won't take a loss at all in this match, meaning Team Raw will come out victorious.

Because of her dominance and her freshness to the roster, though, she has a strong chance to be the standout star and the person ththis whole match is booked around.

While that might not translate to a slaughtering on her behalf where she takes down all other five competitors on her own, her teammates are going to have to go down in order to make the match interesting.

If Team SmackDown were run through completely and not able to eliminate enough people from Team Raw, it would seem like the blue brand's women were vastly inferior, so we can expect an easy back and forth of eliminations before Asuka turns the tables for her team and secures a victory.

Asuka stands head and tall above all other men and women are the single most likely person to become the sole survivor of any team this year, and if it doesn't happen with her, it's probably not going to happen to anybody.
