WWE Survivor Series 2019: 3 Impressive stats coming out of the show

It was a history-making night for WWE as they presented the 33rd annual Survivor Series, just hours after NXT TakeOver: WarGames III took over the city of Chicago. It was a fantastic night that, rather shockingly didn't include any title changes, but did see NXT become the superior brand when they were able to win four of the head to head matches.

Wins for the Women's team, Shayna Baszler, Lio Rush and Roderick Strong all helped NXT to a historic point haul on their first night on the main roster and allowed the brand once known as developmental, to prove that they are now in the driving seat.

Whilst all of the headlines from last night will be surrounding NXT and their deserved win, several other stars also shone on the night and have been able to achieve success in their own way.

#3. Sasha Banks continues to dominate

In a match that saw the likes of Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair take the spotlight, it appears that Sasha Banks is the only woman who walked away with a personal record. There were several debuts in the match since NXT were part of the show for the first time, but the fact that there were 15 women in the match meant that it was much easier to take over current statistics.

The women haven't had elimination matches at Survivor Series as long as the men, but Asuka had the record for the most eliminations in one match, with three back in 2017, which was a dominant year for the Empress of Tomorrow, but it's a record that has now been taken by Sasha Banks.

Banks eliminated four women as part of last night's match- Natalya, Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair, and Toni Storm. Even though it was a 15 woman match, this still means Sasha has the most single match eliminations in the women's version of the match.
