WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 - Star ratings for every match

Well, that was a fun evening. Survivor Series 2024 was a success, thanks in no small part to the in-ring action across every match.

They complemented the biggest moments of the show nicely as once again, a WWE premium live event didn't have a single bad match. However, it wasn't perfect. A couple of them did stand out, though. Let's get into it.

Here is every match at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 rated from a scale of one to five.

#1. Team Rhea Ripley vs. Team Liv Morgan WarGames Match

As is Survivor Series tradition in recent years, the women's WarGames match opened the show.

The first half was pretty sloppy, thanks in part to the babyfaces having the advantage. That being said, there still were some entertaining moments. A toilet seat was used as a weapon! Meanwhile, Liv Morgan was the final entrant into the match and introduced her trusty baseball bat.

She continuously smashed it over Rhea Ripley, before the rest of the babyfaces saved Mami. The match quickly turned into a spotfest that peaked when Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY both dove from opposite sides at the top of the double cage.

Another Money in the Bank cash-in tease ultimately led to Raquel Rodriguez getting handcuffed to the turnbuckle. Other big moments included SKY facing off with Bayley and Nia Jax getting powerbombed through a table.

However, while the match was a bit inconsistent at times, the finish was impressive. Ripley sent Morgan through a table with a top rope Riptide, before pinning her for the win. This was one of multiple huge spots that saved this match from being a disaster.

Rating: ***3/4

#2. LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - WWE United States Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura shocked the world by dethroning LA Knight to win the United States Championship at Survivor Series. This came after a solid outing from both men, but it served to weaken The Megastar. He started hot but cooled off, as Nakamura dominated him.

The King of Strong Style hit a reverse superplex on Knight, before ultimately using the double ring to his advantage. Shinsuke Nakamura hit a reverse DDT on the steel between the two rings, before finishing LA Knight with the Kinshasa.

A surprising end to a match that did better than expected. Now we know why it was added to Survivor Series.

Rating: ***1/2

#3. Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus - WWE Intercontinental Championship

After the United States Title change, it felt like anything could happen in this Intercontinental Championship triple threat. Bron Breakker, Sheamus, and Ludwig Kaiser ensured that was the case, putting on a certified banger at Survivor Series.

All three men laid into each other with massive strikes, kicks, and slams. The match kept on getting better over time, culminating in an intense and nail-biting finish. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Breakker, only for Kaiser to pull the referee out of the ring.

The German then destroyed The Celtic Warrior's ribs with his shillelagh, only to be hit with a flying Spear. Bron Breakker hit one more on Sheamus to retain the IC Title. As mentioned above, this match was excellent. All three competitors held their weight at Survivor Series.

Rating: ****1/2

#4. Gunther vs. Damian Priest - World Heavyweight Championship

While not as good as their SummerSlam contest, the rematch between Gunther and Damian Priest at Survivor Series was pretty solid. The Punisher put up one hell of an effort but was unable to overcome his injured shoulder.

The Ring General took advantage of Priest getting hurt, viciously targeting the shoulder. He hit a myriad of lariats and chips, while the challenger fought back as well. However, in the end, interference from Finn Balor proved crucial at Survivor Series.

A Coup de Grace outside the ring allowed Gunther to finish Damian Priest off. While he retained the World Heavyweight Championship, the big Austrian is yet to overcome his confidence issues. An interesting story beat at the end of a fun match.

#5. OG Bloodline vs. New Bloodline WarGames Match - WWE Survivor Series 2024

The main event of Survivor Series felt exactly like that, as the two Bloodlines went head to head inside WarGames. This was big right from the beginning, as Jey Uso had a special entrance and started the match against Tama Tonga.

The first half was lightyears better than the women's WarGames bout at Survivor Series, as The Usos battled with Bronson Reed and Jacob Fatu. We also saw tension between Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the shark cage. However, that was just the appetizer before the meat of this match.

The OTC entered last and was forced to climb into the WarGames cage, before diving into Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. The action remained intense for the rest of the match. Reed almost ended Reigns with a Tsunami from the top of the cage through a table, only for Punk to save him.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso managed to send Fatu through another table with a huge splash from the top. This led to Solo being cornered by all five babyfaces, who hit their finishers on the new Tribal Chief before Roman Reigns ended things with a Spear.

This was a bunch of fun, with some big storyline moments in between. CM Punk had a great showing inside WarGames one year after his shocking WWE return at Survivor Series 2023. Overall, a success. Much better than Reigns' previous two tag team matches.
