WWE: Tag Team Reunions of 2018
WWE has witnessed a lot of heel turns, championship changes, legends returning and new PPVs being introduced. But some of WWE's better rated episodes and segments have involved the reunion of a few tag-teams whom we never thought would be seen together again.
These nostalgic moments are what draws the audience and gets more involved with the story telling. Here we take a look at the tag-team reunions that did take place this year.
#1 Team Hell No
Daniel Bryan received the best news he possibly could have got earlier in the year when he was medically cleared to compete again inside the WWE ring. Dream matches were being fantasized for Bryan but none could have seen the reuniting of the highly successful Team Hell No.
'The Leader of the Yes Movement', Daniel Bryan, had to make due with the likes of Big Cass and Samoa Joe upon his arrival and seemed to be going nowhere. That was until he fell into the radar of the Bludgeon Brothers.
On the June. 27 2018 episode of Smackdown, Bryan was subjected to a beatdown from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan which didn't seem to be stop until a returning Kane cleared the ring - much to the disbelief of Daniel Bryan.
The duo hugged it out signalling a reunion and a throwback to their championship reign in 2013. They were on-screen for a few funny segments as well on Smackdown Live with them serving as a teaser for future development.
Team Hell No went on to face the Bludgeon Brothers at Extreme Rules albeit in a handicap match, with Kane getting beatdown beforehand by the then-Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
Even though it lasted for quite a short time, Bryan was able to catapult himself towards bigger feuds with long-time rival the Miz and AJ Styles, with him even winning the WWE Championship. The reunion of Team Hell No was meant to push Daniel Bryan and it sure did work for Bryan, who has the WWE Championship around his waist as of now.
