WWE takes a shot at CM Punk at NXT R-Evolution
As seen on the WWE NXT Takeover R-Evolution pre show, former NXT Tag Team Champion and now commentator Corey Graves, announced his official in-ring retirement due to his concussion issues. It was revealed that WWE’s ‘world class doctors’ advised him to retire from the matches. He joined the NXT's commentary team during the show. Looks like he was also meant to take a shot at former WWE Star CM Punk.
When Graves mentioned about the WWE’s doctors as world class, how they diagonsed the problem, advised him to retire and how he still has a job with the company, these were all meant to show that WWE’s doctors are actually doing the right thing for their talents, contrary to what CM Punk has said on the Colt Cabana podcast.
It was also mentioned that Corey Greaves was offered a two year contract from Triple H, which gives him a shot at becoming a guest commentator for RAW, Smackdown and many pay-per-views.
