Who will be the perfect opponent for The Undertaker at WrestleMania?

According to latest news and rumors, we may not see The Undertaker at this year’s WrestleMania. Sources says that The Undertaker is not physically fit to compete and that’s why The Phenom has not yet signed-off on competing at WrestleMania XXX. Note that WWE was planning for Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker for this year but because of Lesnar’s physically dominant attitude in matches and The Undertaker’s poor health, it might not happen now.

According to F4WOnline.com,

“There had been concern because Lesnar works so physical and Undertaker is in really rough shape physically that as much as the match is marketable, maybe it’s not the best thing for Taker, who is down to his final few career matches…that’s where some of the Sheamus talk came in.”

The Undertaker and Brock had a brutal feud in 2002 where Brock successfully defeated Undertaker… twice. And after that they exchanged some words at UFC. That’s when people started saying that they will have a match soon. Later, Brock said that he has no problem facing The Undertaker.

“Another problem with the two going up against each other involves the preparation for the match. Over the past couple of years, Taker’s WrestleMania opponent would secretly work out their match with him and practice it repeatedly. However, with Lesnar, there is concern on whether Lesnar would put in the time to prepare a high quality match.”

The Undertaker was brutally attacked by The Shield on April 26th edition of Smackdown. He defeated Dean Ambrose of The Shield via submission. After the match he had a hip-replacement surgery and that was the reason why he is not in WWE right now.

“Undertaker has reportedly been rehabilitating from the hip-replacement surgery and is nervous about working another match, especially one against proposed WrestleMania XXX opponent, Brock Lesnar. Undertaker, understands that a match with Lesnar on the “grandest stage of them all” would be very intense and physical, and does not know if he is ready to commit to this yet or not.”

According to news, The Undertaker has personally requested Daniel Bryan be his opponent for WrestleMania XXX. This would no doubt be a less physical match, but incredibly entertaining. Daniel Bryan who has joined The Wyatts, will be a perfect choice instead of Brock Lesnar.

The reports also claims that,

“Vince McMahon is confident that Undertaker will come through and sign-off on competing at WrestleMania XXX. However, McMahon and WWE officials are willing to bring in someone like Bill Goldberg to have a marquee match if Undertaker decides that he cannot go on April 6.”

Bill Goldberg has already said that he is open for return and face anyone at WrestleMania.
