WWE TLC 2018: 5 bold predictions for the event
WWE’s last pay-per-view event for the year is just around the corner, and a lot has been done to set up the storylines and matches heading into the event. The build-up has gotten enough time to become solid enough, unlike a few PPVs in the last couple of months.
This potentially means that we could have one of the best events of 2018 to close out the year - TLC 2018. With 5 championship matches lined up, along with the final of the Mixed Match Challenge (MMC), we could indeed have once of the strongest match cards in the second-half of the year.
Keeping that in mind, just like every other major event, this one is open to a lot of debate and predictions by fans. Thus, the excitement surrounding the event increases day by day.
Take a look at a list of five bold predictions about the event which could happen and make the night even more enjoyable as well as memorable for the WWE Universe.
#5 The New Day vs the Bar vs the Usos will steal the night
One of the matches scheduled for the night is between the three most accomplished tag teams in WWE today. With the involvement of all three teams, there is a possibility that the match will be huge.
It is sad to see that the match will not be a tables, ladders, and chairs match, as all three teams are extremely well-versed in the same, and could put up an extremely good performance.
Sheamus & Cesaro captured the SmackDown Tag Titles on SmackDown 1000 by defeating The New Day's Big E & Xavier Woods. Since then, The New Day and The Usos have both beaten The Bar in non-title matches, which signifies that they have a clear chance of coming out on top at TLC.
Considering The Bar do not need to be involved in the decision to lose the titles in a triple threat match, all three teams have an equal chance of winning, and will perform their hearts out for the title.
Therefore, there is enough reason to believe that the match will surely be the highlight of the night, and could see a new champion by the end of it.
