TNA still pursuing Storm, update on his status, his warning to the rest

NXT, get ready for a ‘Strorm’ because the ‘Cowboy ‘ is here

TNA would be kicking themselves for the turbulent times that are upon them, as their top draws are opting for a brighter future by joining the hottest wrestling show on TV, that is NXT.

James Storm made a huge debut at the recent NXT tapings and blew the roof of Full Sail University as it was something that came out of the blue in spite of the speculation of his NXT appearance going around. Now it seems Storm would be a regular fixture of the NXT landscape but there is a catch. TMZ senior producer Ryan Satin has reported that Storm has not yet signed an official deal with NXT as of yet and is still being pursued by his former company TNA.

TNA are in desperation mode as they want Storm back and have even offered him a lucrative deal that includes a spike when it comes to the money. In spite of that, Storm who a smart customer, went to the NXT live show first and later was invited for NXT Takeover: Respect. He obliged and was seen backstage and the next thing you know he ‘Stormed’ into Full Sail University the next night to wrestle his first match in a WWE ring.

WWE are planning on offering the ‘Cowboy’, a deal similar to the one proposed to Samoa Joe and are interested in using him for a few more TV tapings at the end of this month. As of now, no deal was signed before or after his debut match and it is something that might happen in the coming days for sure.

TNA certainly must have felt the paranoia when they got the news of Storm being present at the Takeover event as they tried contacting the former TNA World Champion, but to no avail. A deal with more money on the line is up for cards from TNA’s side, but Storm seems to be assessing his options at the moment.  He even thanked Triple H for the opportunity that was granted to him and posted this tweet:

From the initial signs, Storm would most likely want to be an active member of the budding NXT roster. He tweeted a post and sent out a warning to the other NXT stars that indicate the possible full-time status of Storm in the days to come.

Below is the tweet he posted after WWE made their announcement of his debut:

Hope the WWE realize what Storm brings to the table and use him to his maximum potential. He would feel at home at NXT as there are a bunch of other former TNA standouts such as Samoa Joe and Rhyno who would help him settle in the new setting, not that he needs it as he is a veteran when it comes to the pro wrestling business.
