From having dream bouts featuring 2 legendary superstars to giving a personal angle to rivalries, WWE is at its best when pitching 2 men against each other.
Talking about rivalries, over the years there have been many monumental clashes which have entertained the fans worldwide. The WOW factor is often bestowed upon us by the WWE whenever a gigantic clash takes over. We remain stuck to our seats with great pleasure as a monumental clash turns into a rivalry. There have often been memorable rivalries where one man completely dominated the other, where one man had his rival's number!
Here we rank down 5 high profile rivalries which turned out to be more of a one-sided affair:
#5 Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
The Beast Incarnate and the Big Dog did form one of the most formidable rivalries of this decade. They’ve battled each other on numerous occasions with Brock Lesnar being the winner most of the times.
The two powerhouses have given the WWE universe quite a number of memorable moments from their epic WrestleMania main events to their historic steel cage match in Saudi Arabia. WWE did showcase Lesnar as a bully, a man who doesn’t care about the company and all he cares about is his paycheck whereas Roman is the one who stands up to Lesnar and takes the fight to the beast. Their whole storyline has been about Lesnar being an underserving WWE universal champion in Roman’s eyes and the big dog tries every now and then to dismantle Lesnar of his throne. Lesnar is often labeled as a tough guy to work with but Roman did just fine to put on a show for the WWE Universe.
Though Roman Reigns won the WWE universal title against his arch nemesis at the 2018 Summerslam, the number of loses he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar prior to that solo victory are way too much to be ignored.
