WWE: Triple H on Cena vs Lesnar, Kenta's Debut, passing of Sean O'Haire, more

Triple H  his latest Sit-down interview with Michael Cole

WWE COO, Triple H, talked about the Night of Champions main event between John Cena and WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in his latest sit-down interview with ringside commentator Michael Cole.

Here are some of the highlights.

* Triple H said he understands Cena is looking for a fight on this week’s Raw at Louisiana’s Cajundome but added that he doesn’t think that Cena will make it to Night of Champions if he insists on provoking Lesnar.

* On the topic of Thursday’s NXT Takeover, The Game feels that the NXT stars featured on Monday’s RAW put on a great show that night and he predicted that they’ll “blow the roof off the place” on Thursday.

* Triple H mentioned that the Ascension has held the NXT tag titles for a year and mused that they might be the most dominant tag team in a decade.

* Regarding Charlotte, Triple H said he thinks she has every athletic gift that her father Ric Flair had, “and then some.”

* Triple H stated that Kenta’s move to WWE had global implications. He said it will be interesting to see how Kenta adapts to life in WWE.

Hunter also addressed the passing of former WCW and WWE star Sean O’Haire at the end of the media conference call today, that was held to promote Thursday’s NXT Takeover event:

“As everybody knows, I’d like to personally address my condolences to Sean O’Haire’s family, his friends and his fans. It’s a tragedy and I wanted to take a moment to offer my condolences on behalf of myself and WWE.”
