WWE: Triple H talks about Daniel Bryan, Money in the Bank PPV and more.
WWE COO, Triple H, in this latest sit-down interview with ringside commentator Michael Cole, addressed matters about Daniel Bryan, The Shield break-up and the Money in the Bank PPV.
Here are some highlights of that segment:
On being asked about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship situation, Triple H stated that Daniel Bryan issue was getting dragged for too long. Since, Bryan could no longer defend the tile because of his injury, he had to be stripped off the title. The Authority was excited to announce that a new champion would be crowned at the Money in the Bank, which would put an end to the fiasco.
Cole brought up Triple H's past injuries and asked The Game whether he would’ve given up the title if he was in Bryan’s position. Triple H replied that when he was injured he wasn't the champion at the time and if he was, he would have done what's right. He further added that the doors are all open if Bryan wants to come back and win the title again.
Cole asked if Hunter will give Bryan a title shot when he returns. He said it all depends on the situation at the time and he can't predict the future. If someone else is the qualified No.1 contender at the time, it wouldn't be fair to move Bryan ahead of them. It's all about what's best for business, stated The Game.
Cole brought up how Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been happy lately, while problems are happening in the WWE such as Brad Maddox getting fired, The Shield breaking up, Batista quitting, Randy Orton missing RAW and the situation with the WWE titles.
The former DX member stated that Cole worries too much. He said that by eradicating the various cancers in WWE, he is celebrating a cancer free environment. He further added that top Superstars competing for the title in the historic Money in the Bank Ladder Match is a reason to be happy. He guaranteed the WWE Universe that a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at the event.
