WWE could twist the knife on Roman Reigns with potential Bloodline implosion on SmackDown

Roman Reigns is getting ready to celebrate his 1,000-day milestone as Universal Champion on the June 2nd edition of WWE SmackDown. However, there is another event that happened on that date several years ago that could hint that The Tribal Chief is walking into his demise on the upcoming edition of the blue brand.

Long before The Bloodline, Roman Reigns was part of The Shield alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, now known as Jon Moxley in All Elite Wrestling. On the June 2, 2014 episode of WWE RAW, Seth Rollins decided to betray The Shield and join The Authority led by Triple H.

The date could just be a coincidence, but there is far too much friction within The Bloodline to ignore at this point. Roman asserted his dominance over The Usos by embarrassing Jimmy and Jey on a recent episode of WWE SmackDown. He scolded them for losing at WrestleMania and suggested that they couldn't be trusted to bring the Undisputed Tag Team Championships back to The Bloodline.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will be teaming up to battle Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the titles at Night of Champions. If Reigns fails to back up his words and The Bloodline comes up short at the premium live event, The Tribal Chief could be walking into a trap rather than a celebration on June 2nd.

Kevin Owens plays mind games with Roman Reigns by dedicating title match to The Usos on WWE RAW

Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continued to play mind games with The Bloodline last night during WWE RAW.

Sami Zayn spent months trying to convince Jey Uso that Roman Reigns doesn't value them, but his words went unheard. However, The Usos could finally be realizing that they aren't deemed essential members of The Bloodline and could interfere in the title match at the premium live event.

During last night's episode of WWE RAW in Pennsylvania, The Prizefighter announced that the champions will be dedicating their victory to Jimmy and Jey this Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

"I'd like to officially dedicate our victory at Night of Champions over Solo and Roman Reigns to the true pillars of The Bloodline, Jimmy and Jey Uso," said Kevin Owens. [00:01 - 00:19]

There is a lot of pressure on Roman Reigns this Saturday night, even though he is not putting the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line. The level of respect and fear The Usos have for their Tribal Chief could be impacted dramatically if he and Solo Sikoa also fail to bring the Undisputed Tag Team Championships back to The Bloodline.
