WWE should make use of Cesaro's unlimited potential.
The King of Swing, also known as The Swiss Superman, Cesaro, has proved that he is one of the best wrestlers in WWE. He is a talented athlete and a skilful wrestler. Before he embarked on a career in wrestling, he was a rugby player from Lucerne, Switzerland. Despite being naturally gifted in the ring, it is clear WWE will drop the ball on him.
WWE has made a mistake in neglecting Cesaro. As Michael Cole said of him, “Pound for pound the strongest man in WWE currently.”
Cesaro is physically strong. Have you seen his epic workout routine? It is inspiring. He has amazing strength for his size. Remember when he did his Giant Swing on The Great Khali? I cannot imagine that any other wrestler could have pulled that off. This 232 pounds superman could hit a 135 pounds shoulder press, with one arm. ONLY ONE ARM. With all these capability he has, this talented performer should not be wasted.
WWE needs to examine its creative strategy
However, WWE is portraying the faulty side of him. Seeing Cesaro getting beaten by Dean Ambrose with a microphone and not fighting back shows how ridiculous the WWE creative team is.
Just like earlier this year, WWE needs to push Cesaro once again to the main event spot, for a positive change in the company. They have pushed someone like The Miz to stardom, for whom the regular crowd chant is “You can’t wrestle.” Compare that with the “Awesome” chants that accompany Cesaro’s performances. Burying Cesaro is surely not best for business.
Other than being a star in the ring, Cesaro can deliver a much better speech than someone like Dean Ambrose.
There was one speech he gave with the US Championship belt wrapped around him where he started off by calling America the greatest country in the world, but gradually moved to abusing the country for its culture of mass consumption and obesity. And he speaks five languages – English, Italian, German, French, and Swiss-German.
Cesaro should be given the right storyline and gimmick, made a courageous fighter and his fans given some recognition.
