WWE Women's US Title: 17-time champion to return after 343+ days to stake her claim? Chances explored
WWE has introduced the Women's US Championship to the main roster, and it has put the female division on high alert. The new title has been introduced to the mix in an attempt to provide women with more opportunities. Everyone will be eager to get their hands on it, so much so that a 17-time champion could make an emphatic return after 343-plus days to stake a claim.
The champion in question is perhaps the most successful superstar in the women's division. She is a 14-time WWE Women's World Champion on the main roster, in addition to being a one-time Women's Tag Team Champion and a two-time NXT Women's Champion. If you haven't guessed already, it is none other than Charlotte Flair, who could return and stake claim to the Women's US Championship.
The Queen's last appearance was on the December 8, 2023, edition of SmackDown, where she got injured during a match against Asuka. Flair has been hard at work of late and is preparing for an in-ring return. While she is a main-event-level talent, Triple H and Co. could choose to ease her back into the programming by inserting Charlotte into the Women's US Title picture.
It certainly would be quite a surprise, and there is no denying that The Queen would make for a great inaugural champion. But at the end of the day, this is nothing more than mere speculation. There really is no telling when Flair will return, let alone if she will show any interest in the Women's US Title. We will just have to wait and see.
Several WWE Superstars have already vowed to win the Women's US Championship
WWE is currently experiencing an exciting period, especially within the women's division. After all, the female stars now have a new secondary title to vie for after delivering impressive performances for years. Consequently, it is not unexpected that numerous superstars are now targeting the Women's US Championship.
Over the past few days, several female stars have taken to social media to express their desire for the title. Michin, Chelsea Green, and Natalya are among the many competitors hoping to become the inaugural champion.
No matter how you look at it, the interest in the title is high, and the WWE Universe is equally, if not more, interested in the same. Everyone wants to know who the inaugural Women's US Champion will be. Fortunately, we will likely find out in the coming weeks.
