The WWE Speed Women’s Championship is the top title for female wrestlers competing in WWE Speed on X( formerly known as Twitter), a high-energy division dedicated to fast-paced, action-packed matches. It is a newly established championship created specifically for matches that last no more than five minutes. It is one of the seven titles in WWE that can be won by a female wrestler in WWE.
Current WWE Speed Women’s Champion
As of October 2024, Candice LeRae is the WWE Speed Women’s Champion in her first reign with the title. She is also the first-ever wrestler to win the title. On October 4, 2024, she defeated Iyo Sky to become the champion. This marked her first title reign in WWE since July 2021 when she won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, and is her first singles title reign in WWE overall.

History of WWE Women’s Speed Championship
WWE Speed, the weekly video series was launched in April 2024. It brought a fresh and exhilarating dimension to the world of professional wrestling. Exclusively available on X, the series features high-intensity matches with a strict three-minute time limit, featuring WWE's top talent from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
Initially focused on male competitors, Speed expanded its horizons in May 2024 with the announcement of women's matches. This development culminated in the inaugural WWE Speed Women's Championship tournament, which kicked off in September 2024. The tournament's finale, taped in October, saw SmackDown's Candice LeRae clinch victory over Raw's Iyo Sky.
