WWE Rumours: Women's division to get more defined characters
Before SummerSlam last year, three women from NXT joined the main roster and aimed at changing the course of Women’s division in WWE. Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch’s debut started the ‘Divas Revolution’ in WWE. Unfortunately, the ideas of WWE Creative to establish a revolution within the WWE Women’s division failed and the revolution faded in no time.
At WrestleMania, those 3 NXT women proved their abilities once again when they battled for the Women’s Championship. In fact, some even claim that the Divas match was the best match of the night. Their performance impressed the officials once again and they are planning to restart that ‘Divas Revolution’.
WWE Women’s division is rumored to go through several changes, in terms of their characters. The Chairman, Vince McMahon, reportedly wants more distinct characters for the female division, which is a part of several plans to revolutionize and re-brand the division.
Dailywrestlingnews.com has reported that that Vince, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are actually responsible behind the recent and upcoming changes in the division. Several fans, even many backstage officials felt that the Divas Revolution, that kicked off last summer didn’t get the attention it deserved. Hence, they are planing to restart by making important moves and improving things in the Women’division.
