WWE WrestleMania 32 - 5 terrific moments from the show

Lynch during the historic Women’s Championship Match

The show of shows, the grandest stage of them all where history is made each passing year. What could have been ridiculous felt great. It was the gala of the absurd but it was a great day to be a wrestling fan.

There were disappointments, yes, but let us take a moment and think that maybe Raw can balance that out. This, at least, wasn’t the worst of WrestleManias. There were some terrific segments and let’s all try to remember this show for that.

Here are the five best moments from the show-

1) The real madman of WrestleMania

Shane McMahon won the hearts of millions

Shane McMahon is a mad, mad, mad, guy. This was more street than Ambrose vs Lesnar. Maybe this match was the reason for dumbing down the actual No Holds Barred match on the card. All the usual chants of appreciation were there for this match. There were also faint “please don’t die” chants.

The prodigal son gave his all in this fight. Shane McMahon might be old but he still jumped off that cage. He was broken in half. If you were still undecided on who should have won this match, that leap may have gotten Shane more support than he had.

This match also did what Lesnar vs Ambrose could have done but didn’t. Undertaker had a look of respect on his face and maybe regretted that Shane ate the pinfall. And in the end, when he was taken out by the medics, he gave the audience a thumbs up indicating everything’s all right with Shane O’Mac.

The feeling when the referee’s palm hit the mat for the third time, was one of despair. Shane O’Mac actually made you believe that he was the instrument of change. His performance in the loss will give Vince McMahon and the Authority some major heat.
