WWE WrestleMania 33: 5 Superstars who could wrestle their last match at the event
WWE WrestleMania 33 will be an event of epic proportions for a number of reasons, but most importantly because it will feature the most amount of star power WrestleMania has had in several years.
From a mega match in the main event for the Universal Championship to John Cena, Randy Orton and likely Seth Rollins all avenging their absences from last year to the vast number of NXT call-ups in the past year, this WrestleMania card will be stacked with Superstars. Additionally, almost everyone finds themselves healthy in time for the Show of Shows.
That said, this WrestleMania could also be notable for featuring the final matches of a few different wrestlers. The grand stage has typically been the perfect place for people to close out their careers, and these five Superstars might be next to hang up their boots.
#5 Big Show
I originally contemplated putting Mark Henry in this slot, but not only do we not currently know what match he will be a part of at the event (probably the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal), he has said his days as an active competitor were done years ago. Yet, he remains a member of the Raw roster and makes occasional appearances.
Big Show, on the other hand, hasn't teased retirement quite as many times as The World's Strongest Man has, but he too is closing in on the end of his run as a wrestler. In fact, he has gone on the record before saying this could be his final WrestleMania match with his contract expiring in February 2018.
Of course, original plans called for Show and Shaq to face off at WrestleMania 33, but those were nixed once negotiations fell through earlier this year. Instead, Show will be taking part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and regardless of whether he wins or loses, it would be a fine time for him to ride off into the sunset.
