WWE WrestleMania 33 News: The Undertaker’s pyrotechnics set the stage on fire

The Undertaker raised his hands for one last time

Yes, it may well have been the last time we saw the Undertaker walking up the ramp in the WWE. However, it was sure made unforgettable as The Dead Man took a page out of his brother Kane’s books and almost burned down the house!

The heart-wrenching defeat to Roman Reigns during last night’s WrestleMania was followed up by the emotional yet symbolic farewell as ‘Taker took off his hat, gloves and jacket and placed them in the ring. ‘Taker made his way up the ramp even as the iconic bone-chilling music played out and the lights went dark.

He then raised his hands, one final time, causing an explosion of pyrotechnics just before being lowered down the ramp. The quintessential moment was pure Undertaker – the perfect showman, the legend until the very end.

However, as unfortunate as it might be, the pyro started a small fire on the ramp and it spread rather quickly to the staging area. Thankfully, though, a hustling worker put out the fire with an extinguisher before it became too serious.

If one was to take a walk down the memory lane, one would remember how a similar incident had injured multiple people, after an Undertaker pyrotechnics mishap at the same venue back in 2008 during WrestleMania 24.

It is not known, as of yet, if this fire caused any injury or if that massive plume of smoke was indeed headed to the crowd. However, it seems like no major injuries were caused this time around.
