WrestleMania 35 is in the history books now. The 2019 edition of the Showcase of the Immortals was the first instance where women headlined the event. The event saw the crowning of three red hot babyfaces in Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, and Becky Lynch.

While Rollins "cheated" his way to slay the Beast, Kofi Kingston had an emotional journey to the top of the WWE food chain after defeating Daniel Bryan.

Becky Lynch overcame the challenges thrown by both Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair - and even pinned Rousey to claim the victory and to take home both the RAW and SD Live Women's titles.

However, the way the match ended was not a comprehensive one. Lynch countered Rousey's armbar attempt to gain a successful roll-up pinfall. Such an ending is not usual in the main event of WrestleMania. In this list, we will take a look at a few reasons why the WrestleMania 35 main event ended with a roll-up

#3 To protect both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey

Without a shadow of a doubt, one can say that Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey are two of the most protected women on the WWE roster today. WWE treats them as the top stars. So in order to protect both Rousey and Flair, WWE could have used the roll-up finish.

Neither of the two Superstars looked weak throughout the match and had some great spots. Charlotte hit a double spear, and Ronda's quick strikes were a thing of beauty. Thus, we can say that WWE has done an excellent job of protecting all three of the women involved in the match, and at the same time, gave us a quality main event.
