WWE wrestler Brad Maddox stuck in a cave; pleads for help
I wouldn’t want to dwell on this matter too much for now, but last night, WWE wrestler and the former General Manager of Monday Night RAW, Brad Maddox posted a video on his Youtube account, claiming that he was trapped in a cave, and was in immediate need of medical services. In the video, he stated that he was separated from the rest of the group while exploring a cave, and gave his last known location in a desperate effort to get out. He then asked the viewers to call the local authorities and give them his whereabouts, as he was visibly shaken, and seemed to be emotionally distressed.
Now, there have been quite a few superstars in the past that put up videos stating they were in some kind of danger, but it ended up being a work for a storyline or an angle. Although we aren’t sure of how or why Brad Maddox found himself in this predicament, it can be a legitimate plea for help. With Brad requesting the viewers to contact the local authorities, he might be in grave danger, and that is a worrying sign for the WWE superstar. Brad found success in the WWE as a referee who screwed Ryback, during his WWE title match against CM Punk last year. Maddox has since been the on – screen General Manager of RAW, and was “fired” (storyline) by Stephanie and Triple H few weeks ago.
Maddox had been posting videos of his adventures on his Youtube account, and in the video, had mentioned that the last point of entry was somewhere in Guantanamo, Mexico. The cave Maddox is stuck in is in the Yukatan Peninsula, Mexico. Also, people can question the legitimacy of the entire situation, with Maddox posting a video on Youtube instead of contacting the local authorities himself. Also, quite a number of people have raised doubts about the possibility of having phone reception inside a cave. Although we can’t be certain that this isn’t some kind of work, it is also possible that Brad Maddox might be in legitimate danger. Below is the video that he had posted on Youtube.
Recently, there was a report of a little girl saving her father by posting a video on her Facebook account, calling for help. In the end, quite a number of people witnessed the video and got in touch with the local authorities, and managed to help in rescuing her father. If this was indeed a legitimate call for help, people might’ve already contacted the authorities, with a lot of people from all over the world watching the video.
On the flip side, if this was some kind of hoax or a work, then Maddox might end up losing his job in the WWE. The last time WWE tried to fool the fans by insinuating that someone was in real trouble, it was exactly 7 years ago, when Vince McMahon’s limousine blew up. Quite a lot of fans were enraged by how WWE tried to play it off as a legitimate incident, and it ended up going nowhere, getting WWE bad publicity in the process. But for the sake of the former General Manager of RAW, let’s hope that it was indeed a work, or that someone might’ve already rescued Maddox.
