From the WWE rumor mill: WWE teasing RAW Tag Team Championship match for tonight's episode
What’s the story?
The WWE is teasing a RAW Tag Team Championship match for tonight’s episode of RAW.
Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will likely feature reigning RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar defend their titles against Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose.
In case you didn’t know…
The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) captured the RAW Tag Team titles after defeating Rollins & Ambrose before Survivor Series, courtesy a distraction provided by The New Day.
Sheamus & Cesaro have been feuding with the aforementioned Shield members ever since and are likely to compete against them tonight as well, only this time with their titles on the line.
The heart of the matter
Tonight’s episode of RAW (November 27th, 2017) airs from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is yet have most matches officially announced.
Nevertheless, the WWE is hyping up a showdown between RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro on the one hand and Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose on the other.
If the match were to indeed include the title stipulation, fans can expect The Bar vs The Shield (Rollins & Ambrose) to be prominently featured tonight on RAW. Besides, as the Hounds of Justice recently hinted on Miz TV, all three of them are bound to hold championship gold sooner rather than later.
What’s next?
Roman Reigns recently won the WWE Intercontinental Championship by beating The Miz; and fans can expect Rollins & Ambrose to follow suit; once again holding championship gold.
Author’s take
Honestly speaking, The Shield may very well be one of the most dominant factions of all time; right up there with DX, Evolution, the nWo and teams of the sort.
The WWE’s shows seem to be heating up as the WWE Universe inches closer to the Royal Rumble PPV which is set to take place in January of 2018. Giddy up!
