WWE's plans for Ronda Rousey, Eva Marie return, AJ Lee, Austin and more
- Steve Austin’s entertaining podcast saw Brock Lesnar this week and according to backstage updates, WWE is planning on getting Ronda Rousey and Eric Bischoff on the Stone Cold podcast for its future episodes.
When it comes to Rousey in particular, WWE has plans to not only have her for the podcast but also to involve her in some angle at the upcoming Hell In a Cell pay-per-view. Word has been going around for months about WWE getting Rousey for a Hell In a Cell appearance at Los Angeles and it would surely come as a huge surprise if the WWE does manage to pull it off.
At the moment, though, Rousey is not expected to be at the annual Hell In a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday as her WrestleMania 32 plans are quite uncertain. The UFC women's Bantamweight Champion has many media and movie commitments that she has to adhere to, which makes a WM 32 appearance highly unlikely.
- WWE NXT’s very own red-haired botch mistress, Eva Marie has been missing from NXT TV tapings as of late due to the filming of Total Divas in Paris. She is all set to return tomorrow and be featured in the NXT tapings. Eva has been a victim of some unprecedented heat due to her lack of skills in the ring and on the mic. But the past few weeks have seen an improvement of sorts as she has been botching less and putting on clean performances, which the fans itself are appreciating.
- AJ Lee and CM Punk are busy with their lives post-WWE and are regularly sighted at sporting events. The couple was present for the Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets MLB playoff game in Chicago last night. They are set to be in attendance for tonight's game too, which might be the last game for the Cubs as they are on the brink of getting knocked out. Lee posted a photo on Twitter with actress Aimee Garcia:
AJ Lee recently launched her brand new clothing line and the proceeds from it would be given for charity to the PAWS organisation. As far as Punk’s UFC debut is concerned, the much-anticipated date has been pushed back due to an injury incurred by Punk.
