Y2AJ defeat New Day on SmackDown and hint at possible tag title plans

The recent episode of WWE SmackDown featuring AJ Styles and Chris Jericho teaming up with Mark Henry in order to overcome reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, the New Day could lead to a range of new possibilities according to wrestlinginc.com.

The trio’s defeat of the New Day could lead to a whole new feud between the two teams, which could unfold at WrestleMania. Meanwhile, Jericho and Styles continued to enjoy the spoils of their victory on social media, with each posting complimentary messages to each other on Instagram and Twitter respectively.

Now that New Day are in everyone’s good books evidenced by them winning the Wrestling Observer’s Best Gimmick Award as well as the Comeback of the Year and Wrestlers of the Year award from Rolling Stone, they will look to emphasize the reason behind the accolades by getting one back against Y2AJ.
