Ziggler's backyard comedy, Neville gets married, APA re-union on the cards?
We know Dolph Ziggler as The Showoff, a former World Champion whose grit and perseverance has earned him a level of respect with the WWE Universe that few other Superstars enjoy. But what very few of us know is that Ziggler is somewhat of a standup comedian.
And when he’s not stealing the show in WWE, Dolph’s performing on comedy stages, gobbling up niche alt-comedy programs like “Kroll Show,” and constantly scribbling jokes on airplane napkins. “The Showoff” performed stand-up comedy at the Kowloon Comedy Club this Friday where he regaled fans with jokes about Tinder, traveling, dating, and Chipotle.
Buoyed by the success, Ziggler told fans after Friday’s stand-up comedy performance at the Kowloon Comedy Club near Boston that he would be doing another performance on Saturday afternoon. That performance actually took place at a local apartment complex, as seen in the photo below:
Former NXT Champion Neville has enjoyed a meteoric rise since graduating from WWE's developmental division. The 28-year-old high flyer, from Newcastle, only joined the company's main roster at the end of March.
In just two months he has starred in consecutive pay-per-views, reached the final of the King of the Ring tournament and faced a clutch of world champions past and present. 'The Man Who Gravity Forgot' got grounded when he married his long-time girlfriend last Wednesday, which is why he missed last week's WWE SmackDown tapings.
We wish him all the very best for the new life. Here is the photo of the newlyweds that was posted to Twitter on Sunday afternoon:
