Ziggler Talks about Becoming "The Man" in WWE and more from his Interview
WWE’s new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler was recently interviewed by WWE Commentator Michael Cole in his latest sitdown show. Below are some of the highlights from Ziggler’s interview:
- Ziggler talked about WWE Survivor Series and said he faced a lot of pressure that night. He also promised Team Cena that he wouldn’t let them down that night. Cole brought up the question about how Ziggler’s momentum has been building since Survivor Series to which he replied that winning the Intercontinental title in his home town would mean something to the fans. He said it would be a rebirth for the IC title.
- Cole mentioned about Ziggler winning the match against Seth Rollins on WWE Smackdown, and he replied that there’s where he should be because of his fans and his hard work.
- Ziggler also said that his win is a stepping stone in the right direction and he wants to be the one to lead the way through WWE’s glass ceiling. He wants to show others that everyone can make it with the WWE fans behind them.
- Cole asked whether Ziggler is all hype, he replied that it’s not a chance and he has fought for years to be the man he wanted to be and also mentioned he has a big chip on his shoulder. He said that he is on the right track to being “The Man” in WWE and promised it will happen.
