
Aaron Gordon is an American power forward who plays for the Denver Nuggets. Born in San Jose, California, Gordon attended Archbishop Mitty High School, where he achieved remarkable success and earned the title of California Mr. Basketball in his junior and senior seasons. He later played one season at the University of Arizona before declaring for the draft.
In the 2014 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic selected Gordon as the fourth overall pick. He played seven seasons there, averaging 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 428 games. Following his trade to the Denver Nuggets in 2021, Gordon quickly adapted to his new role, winning his first NBA Championship in 2023. In the 2024-25 season, he averages 14.7 points, 4.8 total rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 51 games.
