Kevin Wayne Durant is an American basketball player who has been playing in the NBA for the last 17 seasons with four different franchises. The All-Star power forward was selected as the 2nd overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics, now called the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After nine seasons with Oklahoma, Durant transferred to Golden State Warriors in 2016 where he won two NBA championships. He has also won three gold medals in the Olympics with the U.S. national team. Durant has been selected to play in 14 NBA All-Star games. As a power forward, Durant has averaged 27.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists in his prolonged career in the NBA.
