Ausar 'XLNC' Thompson is an American professional basketball player who was picked fifth overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2023 Draft. He can play at shooting guard as well as the small forward position. Interestingly, his twin brother Amen Thompson, was drafted fourth overall by the Houston Rockets in the same draft. Ausar Thompson's full name is Ausar' XLNC Thompson, where 'XLNC' stands for excellency, a symbol of power. Thompson is the younger sibling of Houston Rockets rookie Amen Thompson.
