Baltimore-born Damion Lee graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in Maryland. Lee played at the point guard position during that period and led his team to the National Prep School Championship. The team finished with a 30-7 record in the 2011 season, and Lee averaged 17 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds per game. Lee earned a spot in the First Team All-New England Preparatory School Athletic Council selection.
After his impressive junior year, Damion Lee won the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Year. After his remarkable college career, Damion Lee was selected for the Second-Team All-CAA, playing for the Drexel. He led the team in scoring with a 17.1-point average, the 3rd best in the CAA.
