John William Furphy, known as Johnny Furphy, is an Australian basketball player, who plays for the Indiana Pacers, wearing jersey number 12 as of May 2025. He was drafted as the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Later on draft night, Furphy was traded to the Pacersin exchange for the 36th overall pick, Juan Núñez and cash. During his rookie season, he also played for the Indiana Mad Ants in the NBA G League.

Johnny Furphy graduated from the Maribyrnong High School ( now known as Maribyrnong College) located in Melbourne, Victoria. He graduted in 2022, and in 2021, Furphy played a couple of games for the Hawthorn Magic in the Big V Championship division.
