LeBron James is regarded by many as the greatest player to have graced a basketball court. He is among the most powerful and influential athletes in the world. Apart from being a world-class athlete, James is also a savvy businessman.

It won’t be a stretch to say that LeBron James is the most important voice in the world of sports after only Muhammed Ali. Even with all the success that he has had in his career, James has managed to keep himself very close to his family. From what we see on social media, King James is not only a great father to his 3 kids but also a very loving husband to his wife Savannah Brinson.

LeBron James currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has won 4 NBA titles so far, 2 with Miami, 1 with Cleveland, and the last one with the Lakers. In the 2019-20 NBA Finals, James became the first-ever NBA player to win Finals MVP for 3 different franchises. In total, he has 20 All-Star appearances to his name.

How did LeBron James and Savannah James meet?

LeBron James and Savannah first crossed paths in 2002 as high school students in Akron, Ohio. Back then, Savannah was a 16-year-old sophomore at Buchtel High School, and LeBron was a 17-year-old junior at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. They were once introduced through mutual connections, and this is when a friend informed Savannah that LeBron was interested in her. Breaking from the typical scenario where a man usually approaches a woman, this love story saw a woman, Savannah taking the initiative by requesting LeBron's number.

Recalling their initial interactions, Savannah shared with Cleveland Magazine in 2017 that she decided to reach out to LeBron out of curiosity. She reminisced, "One day I'm sitting around, I was probably bored or something, and I'm like, 'Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call. He seemed interested, so let's see.'"

LeBron wasted no time in inviting Savannah to one of his basketball games, followed by a casual group dinner at Applebee's. Their connection deepened during a subsequent solo date at Outback Steakhouse, marking the beginning of a blossoming romance that has endured through the years.
