The Lunar Owls BC continued its dominance, defeating the Mist BC 85-81 in a thrilling rematch of Unrivaled's opening game. The league's co-founders, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, faced each other again on Saturday at the Wayfair Arena in Miami, Florida.
Collier led the undefeated Lunar Owls with another monster performance. She finished with 38 points and 15 rebounds on 16-for-27 shooting. Allisha Gray contributed 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Skylar Diggins-Smith had 13 points, five assists and four steals. Courtney Williams added nine points off the bench.
Stewart's double-double performance led the attack for Mist. She finished with 23 points, 17 rebounds and four assists on 7-for-19 shooting. Rickea Jackson scored 15 points, while Courtney Vandersloot and Aaliyah Edwards came off the bench to score 15 and 12 points, respectively. Jewell Loyd added 11 points.
The teams are on the opposite sides of the standings. The Lunar Owls (8-0) have dominated the inaugural season of the 3-on-3 women's professional basketball league, while Mist is at the bottom with a 2-6 record.
Lunar Owls started its usual trio of Collier, Gray and Diggins-Smith. For Mist, Stewart started with Jewell Loyd and Rickea Jackson.
Unrivaled announced before tip-off that the game between the Laces BC and Vinyl BC has been canceled, making Lunar Owls-Mist the lone Unrivaled match on Saturday.

At the end of the first seven minutes, the Lunar Owls BC had a 25-17 lead over the Mist BC. Napheesa Collier had 11 points and seven rebounds on 5-for-8 shooting. On the other end, Mist shot just 6-for-18 (33.3%).
Mist went on a 12-2 run for a 36-34 lead with 2:12 remaining in the second quarter. The teams exchanged baskets the rest of the quarter, and Mist led by three heading into the break, 48-45. Collier already had 25 points and nine rebounds on 11-for-17 shooting.
For Mist, Courtney Vandersloot had 13 points and four assists off the bench. Breanna Stewart contributed 12 points and nine rebounds. Jewell Loyd added nine points, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
In the third quarter, Mist extended its lead over the league-leading Lunar Owls to 10 behind a 10-0 run. They led 67-57 with a little over two minutes remaining. Towards the end of the period, Collier committed her fifth foul. The game's final score was established at 84, after a 73-65 Mist lead at the end of the third.
In the untimed fourth quarter, Lunar Owls went on a 12-2 run. Allisha Gray's fourth 3-pointer of the night tied the game, and Skylar Diggins-Smith scored a go-ahead layup to make it a 77-75 lead for the Lunar Owls.
Collier committed her sixth and final foul with the Lunar Owls leading 83-81 and needing only a point to win. Shakira Austin came in and hit the game-winning basket in the ensuing possession as the Lunar Owls won its eighth straight game to remain undefeated.
