"Day-Night Test match should not become the only way the only way Test cricket is played"- Virat Kohli
India prepared to play in their maiden day-night test match when they take on Bangladesh in the second test of the series at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The pink ball test match at Eden Gardens will be the first time both India and Bangladesh play a test match under lights.
At the pre-match press conference, India captain Virat Kohli was understandably unsure of the dew factor under the lights and the difficulties of using a pink ball in such conditions.
While appreciating the challenges of playing with a pink ball under lights, Kohli hoped that day-night test matches would not become the future of test cricket.
