Here's a short video on the top 5 active opening pairs in ODIs. Although an avid cricket fan would definitely know that the record for most runs scored by an opening pair is held by Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly (from India) who shared 6609 runs among them with an average of just below 50 (49.32 to be exact).
