Ronaldo an 'animal in front of goal' says Simeone ahead of Juve in UCL

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone said on Tuesday that Cristiano Ronaldo "is an animal in front of the goal" as his side prepare to face Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Group D at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday.

Simeone's men have their chance to make amends for last season's UEFA Champions League elimination in the last-16 stage of the UEFA Champions League by the Serie A giants, who were then led by Massimiliano Allegri.

"(Massimiliano) Allegri's game was different than Sarri's game. I don't think there's much I can learn from our previous games against Juventus," added Simeone.

Atletico are second in the LaLiga table, but lost 2-0 at Real Sociedad on Saturday.
