Women's World Cup 2019: Marta insists she's ready to play and that Brazil will go for the win
Brazil head coach Vadao confirmed he will start star player Marta in the game against Italy on Tuesday in Valenciennes.
Marta has been suffering with a muscle strain and missed Brazil's first game against Jamaica, but returned for the first half against Australia.
Italy have been the surprise package of Group C, leading after their victories against Australia and Jamaica.
Brazil, one of the favourite teams in the tournament, eased past the Reggae Girlz 3-0 in their World Cup opener but were defeated 3-2 by the Matildas on Thursday.
A draw against the South Americans would be enough for Italy to finish on top of the group.
