About U19 CWC 24
The U19 World Cup is the biennial tournament organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for national teams with players less than the age of 19. The Under 19 Cricket World Cup 2022 edition will be played in West Indies. The tournament will be played over 3 weeks and will comprise of 48 matches including the Final. The Bangladesh U19 team is the defending champions.

Teams
16 teams divided into four groups will be participating in the U19 world cup. Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Ireland, Canada and United Arab Emirates are ICC Full Members.
Format
The league stage matches will be played among groups which will be contested from 14 January 2022 to 21 January 2022. It will be followed by the Plate League and Super League. The top two teams from each group will play the Super League and the bottom two will play in the Plate League. The winner of the Plate League final will be placed 9th in the competition table. The final of the Under 19 cricket world cup will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda on 5 February 2022.
