ICC Womens T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table

The 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is knocking on the door as 10 teams gear up to fight for the right to be called the world T20 champions! With South Africa as the hosts, the extravagant event will kick off on 10th February 2023 with the Proteas taking on Sri Lanka. The 23-match tournament will have the final be played on 26th February 2023. Before the last hurdle, the two semi-finals are scheduled to take place on the 23rd and 24th of February 2023.

In the group stage, there will be two groups in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2023 points table. Group A and Group B with five teams each. Group A consists of Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Group B consists of England, India, West Indies, Pakistan, and Ireland.

South Africa qualified as hosts, while the seven other teams made it to the competition via automatic qualification too. Ireland and Bangladesh were the last to qualify in the final 10 after topping the qualifiers.


In order to progress to the knockout stage, teams will have to make it to the top 2 spots in their respective groups. Each side will play one game against other teams in their group where a win will earn them 2 points, a tie 1 point, and a loss will result in 0 points.

Each group’s top-placed team in the Women's T20 World Cup points table will play the second-placed team in the other group in the semi-final.
