About IND vs WI
India vs West Indies 2023
Team India will tour to the West Indies for a month-long tour to play multi formats of cricket. This will be the first international assignment for the Men in Blue since they finished as runners-up to Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) final in June.
The India vs West Indies 2023 bilateral series consists of two Test matches, three One-Day International matches and five T20 Internationals between July 12 and August 13. India also visited the Caribbean Islands last year almost around the same period but played only limited-overs fixtures - three ODIs and five T20Is.

Ind vs WI 2023 Test Series
The two-match Test series between India and West Indies will be a part of the new World Test Championship cycle for 2023-25. In fact, both teams will commence their new cycles in this series itself. Dominica and Trinidad will host the two Tests respectively. The Indian team last played a Test match in Dominica in 2011, with senior batter Virat Kohli and head coach Rahul Dravid being the only two members from the playing XI of that game to travel with squad.
Ind vs WI 2023 ODI Series
West Indies and India will shift their focus to white-ball cricket shortly after the conclusion of the Test series. With the 2023 World Cup just two month away from the time of commencement of the IND vs WI ODI series, the three matches will be crucial for eventual hosts’ preparations. West Indies won’t participate in the quadrennial event as they failed to mark their qualification in the World Cup Qualifiers held in Zimbabwe. Barbados will host the first two T20Is before the two teams return to Trinidad to play the last game. The series will be played from July 27 to August 1.
Ind vs WI 2023 T20 Series
There will be five T20 Internationals between India and West Indies to conclude a long bilateral series. Trinidad and Guyana will host the first three games before the two teams move to the United States of America (USA) to play the final two fixtures in Flordia. This can be a reality check for the Indian team to pick their probables for next year’s T20 World Cup as West Indies and USA are expected to jointly host the showpiece event. The T20Is will be played between August 3 and August 13.
