The Mexican Grand Prix is going to be the 5th last race of the season. It will be the home race of the Red Bull driver Sergio Perez. Perez has received a lot of support at home from his fans in Formula 1. It will be crucial for the driver to display his ample skills and promptly fight for the race win or a possible podium finish in order to keep his Red Bull seat relevant. The Mexican driver has a confirmed seat at Red Bull for the next season but considering the volatile nature of the team he can be replaced anytime if seen fit.

The loss of Adrian Newey was already a huge blow to Red Bull. However, their title chances in both the driver and the constructor’s championships are being contested by other teams. McLaren and Lando Norris have turned out to become the biggest obstacle in the path of Red Bull and Max Verstappen. The Mexican GP is hinted to remain on the Formula 1 calendar at least until the 2025 Formula 1 season. The race is held almost 2 kms above the sea level. As such, it is crucial for the teams to take into account the racing conditions and aptly prepare for the race during the practice sessions.
