Philip "Phil" Mickelson is an American professional golfer, born on June 16, 1970. A six-time major champion, his wins include the 2013 Open Championship, three Masters titles in 2004, 2006, and 2010, and two PGA Championships in 2005, and 2021. At age 50, Phil Mickelson became the oldest golfer to win a major with his 2021 PGA Championship. He has also won the 2021 Charles Schwab Cup Championship, the season-ending event of the PGA Tour Champions. Originally right-handed, Mickelson is known for his left-handed swing, earning him the nickname "Lefty." In 2022, he joined LIV Golf and played for HyFlyers GC.

Mickelson turned professional in 1992 and has won 57 professional titles, including 45 on the PGA Tour, as of February 2025. He first reached a career-high world ranking of No. 2 in February 2001 and spent 25 years in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). He also won the Haskins Award and Jack Nicklaus Award for three consecutive years (1990-1992).
