That's all from this game and the series as I, Lavil Saldanha and my colleague, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty take your leave. The action doesn't stop and you can switch tabs to see what is happening around the in the world of sports. Goodbye from our side as we look to catch up with you all soon!
Australia pose ahead of the champions board that has been placed. They have been clinical in throughout the three games and are rightly lifting the trophy in their hands
Agha Salman (Pakistan captain): We didn't capitalise in the middle overs which put us in that situation. Lot of positives. The way Irfan batted and the way Jahandad bowled was great. Winning ODI series here after 22 years was simply phenomenal but we could have done better in the T20 series but hopefully, we will come back stronger.
Marcus Stoinis is the player of the match for his knock of 67 runs in 21 balls. Here is what he has to say: Good to score some runs, it was a good batting track. He is a brilliant bowler, bowled well this series
Josh Inglis (captain, Australia): It has been a great way to wrap up the series, it has been great fun with this bunch. When he is going like that, it is hard to stop. A quick flight tonight before I face the red cherry tomorrow
Spencer Johnson is the Player of the Series, here is what he had to say: yeah wasn't really expecting this. Nice to back in green and gold and win the series. Obviously every opportunity playing for Australia is a good one and hopefully I can continue doing that. It was a pretty nice wicket. Babar played some great shots up front but our bowlers did a great job.
9:41 pm local time, 4:11 pm IST: Australia beat Pakistan by 7 wickets and win the T20I series 3-0
Australia: 118/3 after 11.2 overs
Marcus Stoinis: 61(27b) | Jahandad Khan: 1/17 (3 overs) Josh Inglis: 27(24b) | Abbas Afridi: 1/14 (1.2 overs)
Marcus Stoinis has made an absolute mockery of this chase. It looked like it was going to be a challenge of some sort for the Aussies to chase this down but the big Victorian has helped his side win quite convincingly and seal the T20I series 3-0.
Australia's innings was off to a shaky start as they lost Glenn Maxwell the batter, who was only available if needed. Later on, it was the fall of Matthew Short's wicket. Jake Fraser McGurk played a few shots around the park and was dismissed soon after. Marcus Stoinis was in terrific form as he smoked the bowlers to every corner of the park, ending the chase with eight overs to spare.
Pakistan had only three bowlers pick up wickets, with even Haris Rauf going for runs. Shaheen Afridi, Abbas Afridi and Jahandad Khan picked up a wicket each, with spin and pace being taken apart equally.
Lets now go down and hear what the captains have to say.
11.3 Abbas Afridi to Marcus Stoinis, a waist height full toss from Abbas Afridi and Stoinis ends up pulling it straight to the deep backward square leg fielder. No-ball called which seals the deal for Australia. They win by 7 wickets with 52 deliveries to spare.
11.2 Abbas Afridi to Marcus Stoinis, pace-off delivery on a length a shade outside off, bunted from the cue end of the bat back to the bowler.
Neel: "Good comeback from AUS from 2-1 ODI series loss to a 3-0 T20I series whitewash." -- Indeed, the ODI series loss to the champions of the format must've hurt but they have done justice to themselves but sweeping the visitors clean
