That's it for this game, folks. Australia have marched onto the semi-finals but ahead of their all-important game against India, they have lost two big players to injuries. The seriousness is yet to be determined for both but it didn't look good. Meanwhile, Pakistan, they would know they were outplayed by a massively superior team amid absences of their own. And those were some tough words from Muneeba. Perhaps they'd be able to put up a much better show in their last remaining league game against New Zealand. For now, it's the pair of Rudransh and Darpan signing off for Sportskeeda!
Tahlia McGrath (standing in for Australia captain, Alyssa Healy): Not a lot of update (On Healy) -- calf, assess the damage. Heartbroken for the two girls. She (Tayla Vlaeminck)'s on the green whistle (smiles). She's a different character. But heartbroken for her too. She has suffered a lot of injuries in her career already. We love Tay and it was really hard to watch. It's just about getting together as the group. It was a chasing first kind of conditions. Schutt has been setting up the games for us. Big meeting tomorrow about the stats and conditions of the venue. The thing about this Australian side is the depth we have got, even from captaincy point of view, so it's time to use it.
Muneeba Ali (Pakistan captain): It's been challenging. But as professionals, we are very much aware of the magnitude of the game. We were not up to the mark with batting. That's not how you approach a T20 game. It was really embarrassing. Everyone in the batting department needs to step up. The belief should have been there. After being the vice-captain for a while, it was a good opportunity for me to learn as well. We are here to play and win, everybody needs to step up. That's the reality and we need to face it.

Ashleigh Gardner [Australia, Player of the Match]: It was nice conditions. Bit more bounce than Sharjah. A bit more spin as well so it was handy. Overall, a clinical performance. Everybody who got the ball did their job. (On Vlaeminck's injury in the first over) It is never nice to see a mate of yours go down like that in the first over itself. Tayla has worked hard to get here. So it was hard to see her going down. I have been working hard. Looking forward to the next challenge against India. We have had some good battles against them over the years. I think the best thing about this team is the depth. We are all very clear in our roles. We might not get time out in the middle but that's credit to our top order.

Complete domination from Australia. They take all the points and qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-final. Their unbeaten streak against Pakistan and in this tournament since 2020 continues. They look so, so dominant that even though it was far from their best game.
Healy and Mooney got off to a quick start, hitting six boundaries (two more than Pakistan's entire innings) in the first three overs. Mooney played one shot too many and got caught at mid-off. Healy and Perry built on toward the target without much trouble. If someone was doubtful before, Pakistan certainly missed Fatima again in the second innings.
They looked like they'd finish things off but Healy picked up an unfortunate injury while running and had to walk off the ground with help from the physio. Perry held things together though and she and Gardner didn't take much long to kill the game, meaning Pakistan only picked one wicket.
